Today Florin (XFL) desktop wallet v2.0.15 has been released. These changes/fixed are included:

- Change software licensing to LGPLv3.
- RPC: New commands verifyproofoffunds, generateproofoffunds
- UI: Add functionality to export transaction history
- UI: Add a basic about dialog displaying licensing information

Today Florin (XFL) is listed on Dutch cryptocurrency broker Knaken.nl which is a big advantage for citizens from Nederlands, Belgium and Germany because XFL can be bought directly with local payment options such as iDeal, Bancontact, Giropay, EPS, Creditcard, etc... Also, Florin will be part of their "Settle" service, which payment requests can be settled for example between friends or family.

Florin (XFL) will officially listed on Knaken.nl! XFL deposits can be done starting 21th of June. The complete market will be available on the 4th of July.

Florindex.com was already available but without a real search function. Well, it's activated now so we can call ourselves an official blockchain explorer! Please note that this is the 1st version, meaning that basic functions are available and errors may exist. Nevertheless ... Enjoy!

Florin (XFL) does have the opportunity to get listed on Dutch cryptocurrency broker Knaken. Therefore a kickstart campaign has been launched to collect 25K Euro in total to make this happen. Knaken is a well known cryptocurrency broker which owns an official bank license in the Netherlands. In case Florin will be listed, Dutch citizens are able to buy XFL with payment option "iDeal" which is the most used payment option in the Netherlands. Also XFL will be available as payment option in their "settle" module (payments done in crypto at merchants).

The new trading pair XFL/USDT will be listed on XT.COM in the Innovation Zone per December 19, 2022

Implement several important fixes to the (previously disabled) fast path of the "index based" portion of the coin cache, with these fixes in place we also turn the fast path on allowing for faster coin cache computations

Improve "getrawtransaction" output to also show a hash for index based outpoints when "txindex" is enabled

Today Florin (XFL) desktop wallet v2.0.12 has been released. These changes/fixed are included:

- Introduce arm64/M1 macOS builds
- Add buy/sell functionality to header at top of app
- Introduce ability to change the address a mining account pays rewards into
- Introduce a "max" button to the send dialog, as well as automatic toggling to max when amount exceeds balance (subtract fee from amount in such instances)
- Allow holding account compounding to be adjusted as a percentage instead of just on/off behaviour (e.g. compound 50% of reward pay out the rest)
- Display a tooltip with more detailed balance when hovering mouse over wallet/account balances
- Persist window size/position across app runs
- Improve the way wallet unlock/lock is handled
- Flag peers sending blocks with future timestamps for DoS so that rogue miners can't DoS the network as much as they have been doing

Since block 100.000, the first Florin block halving was a fact. The block rewards changed from 0.20 Florin (0.10 Miner rewards and 0.10 Holding Reward) into 0.10 Florin (0.025 Miner rewards and 0.075 Holding rewards). Scarcity incoming!

The concept of an even distribution in an ICO was new, therefore the project was called Novocurrency. In May 2021, the brand name changed into Florin, with currency code XFL. A name that is more appropriate to the purpose of the project: A store of Value.
